What is ROBO BATTLE

Georgian Robotics Association is back with one of the loudest and most exciting technology events of the year- Robo Battle 2026
⚙️. The event will take place in November in Tbilisi.
Robo Battle is an engineering competition where teams design and build their own remote-controlled combat robots and face each other in a specially designed, secure combat arena.

The competition brings together engineering, mechanics, electronics, design, creativity, and combat strategy. Its goal is to support the development of combat robotics in Georgia and engage young people and technology enthusiasts in hands-on engineering.

Who can participate?

Participation is open to students, engineers, innovators, technology enthusiasts, and anyone interested in building and competing with a combat robot.

Teams must consist of 2–5 members. If any team member is under 18, the team must include at least one adult member (18+).

Teams may participate in more than one weight category or enter multiple different robots in the same category.

Weight Categories

  • Antweight — 500 g (Pilot)
  • Beetleweight — 1.5 kg
  • Hobbyweight — 5.4 kg
  • Featherweight — 13.6 kg
  • Lightweight — 27 kg (Pilot)

500 g and 27 kg categories are being introduced as pilot categories. Whether these categories will be held will depend on the number of registered teams and competition-ready robots.
